They are Not Clingy
Young kids can be clingy and especially when they are young. In case your child is still clingy, there are chances that they are probably not yet ready for school. You can make them available for school by trying to make them independent.
In case you stay with your child every day, try by taking them to a play school. Taking your child to a play school at least twice a week will help them to learn how to stay with you.

They Can Feed Themselves
In case your child can feed themselves, they are probably ready for school. When it comes to preschool, kids need to know how to feed themselves. Before your child start school, make sure that they can at least feed themselves.
Most of the schools will only agree to admit your child if they can feed themselves. Children who are not yet independent enough to feed themselves might be forced to go to baby care or play school.
They Can Use a Potty
Your child does not have to know how to use the toilet. If your child already knows how to use the potty, then they are ready for school. Most of the pre-schools understand that the kids are too young to use the toilet.
Pre-schools usually have potties that can be used by the kids. The idea is to make sure that your child can stay dry until the end of the school day.
They Can Play with Others
